City poem- " A journey in the early birds eye" by Dhiman Das

I see the clear sky
Having an early bird eye.

Moving ahead
On a cool morning time
Driving alone
Through the rainy sight.

Stopping at the roadside
Where the man just opened his shop,
Ordering a pau bhaji and a hot cup of tea
I look at people bustling around and beside.

Living through the wind
On the month of February
This is my
Yet another journey.

That smoke of the chimney
The shades of those skies
A journey
In the early birds eye.

  1. it really beautiful how you gave a morning in the city its own personality, the scenery described in your poem is something you only see in the morning; or are more likely to see in the morning than any time of the day, like someone opening up shop.

    1. Eh, yes... Actually relishing the present moment of my life and connecting it with winds that touch my body. Don't know if i'm able make any sense but it was the fresh air that talks to me. Anyways thanks for the feedback.
