Love poem : Rohini Sharma

samay mile to aakr milna,
library ki table par,
kuch na bolenge hum zubaan se
aur atkenge kitabon par,
paltenge pejon ko yu hi
lafz sunenge hazaro par,
likhe hue letter ka kya karna?
jazbaat padenge aankho par,
daaton tale kabhi hot dabate
muskaan chupayenge hoto par,
samay mile to aakr milna
library ki table par!

  2. A story is going on in your poem. Perfect scene of love is seen. Nicely written.

  3. The excitement and hesitation that results from the new found chemistry between two people is so simply, and beautifully expressed. The smile ko chupane wali line, instantly reminded me of my own moments with a special someone. Also the repetition of the first two lines at the end gives the poem a nice closing- the end of the poem is an invitation, which is lovely! :)
I had one suggestion. In the line, "samay mile to aakr milna," Could you break the line like :
    "samay mile to,
    aakr milna,"
The line break and pause would add a bit of suspense, curiosity and a kind of playfulness I think!

    1. Okay!! Firstly, I thought it to break the line but when I again read it I realized that it will work with the whole line in one sentence. Again, if I would get a chance to write it again I will do the broken line. And, it is a lot to me that my poem reminded you some wonderful moment in your life. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I will definitely do the break lines in my other poem.
