2) Independent Poem : A Prose Poem
To, The Mellow Moon
Mellow moonlight has no chivalry. It is peeking directly into my heart. Winter snow has settled in this skin. With your tender touch scrape that cold pain. Unzip the layers of snow settled in these legs. Undo the torture of frozen memories. Gently erase coldness of my past. Dormant are the buds of love. Swiftly cast your magical spell. Move your magic wand around. Gently caress this heart. Whisper to spring, ask her to sing that song. Gently bloom like roses and peonies, as spring lasts not long. Slowly I’m melting with snow; dissolving my breath into you. Torture of time fossilized within my eyes. Gently kiss these eyes. Turn those teary sights into starry lights. Be my summer beam turn these tears into sweat, sweetly. Drizzle your charm dreamily. Wash away those stories under the shower of rain.
Gently pluck me from this world. Gently fly me to that mellow moon.
