                     "आज की सच्चाई "

  नई सदी से मिल रही दर्द भरी सौगात,
  बेटा कहता बाप से तेरी क्या औकात।
 मंदिर में पुजा करे घर में करे कलेश़,
  मां - बाप तो बोझ लगे, पत्थर लगे गणेश ।
 बचे कहां अब शेष है दया, धर्म , ईमान,
पत्थर के भगवान , पत्थर दिल ईंसान।
 मंदिर में भगवान को लगे छप्पन भोग,
 मर जाते हैं फुटपाथ पर भूखे- प्यासे लोग।
 तमाम घटनाओं को करते ,
 शेयर  फेसबूक, टिव्टर पर लोग,
 पर दो- दिन बाद भूल जातें हैं लोग।।

    Hello rohini, very nice thought process. I deeply agreed with this sad reality of now days. I would like to say if you could edit your 3rd stanza like this 'bache knha sesh ab daya, dharam, iman, pathar ke bhagwan, pathar dil insan' i think this would maintain our reading flow. But no doubt this is very nice poem.:)

Moonlit Roundabout:Response Poem 2

Narrow was the lane, But so broad the intent. Bought were the things too small, But long was the journey it went. Starry was the surrounding, Glamorous the walls, Sumptuous the history Eerie lifelines so said them all. Meatloaf jumping in the air, Fruits glittering the moonlight, Prayers riding from pointing buildings, Blessed the kid with a visage so bright. Clumsy households, So thin the closing doors, They broke from the surrounding world, Even ruling statues, couldn't bring them close.
