Political poem: Yatish

TL;DR

Please read the
terms and conditions
very carefully
before existing

  • I shall use a mobile phone, whose batteries contain cobalt and nickel mined from the fields of Africa by little children who often die inside the mines.
  • I will enjoy the comfort of the clean city in which I reside. Which is cleaned by underpaid sewage workers who do the work manually by going inside the toxic drains and the garbage cleaners who lose their life under the huge dumps of garbage.
  • I shall fulfill my appetite by consuming the food made from grains produced by farmers in distant land, who struggle under distress and crumble under crushing death, who produce the food for my plate but are unable to feed themselves.
  • I shall burst crackers to celebrate festivals and marriage ceremonies, the crackers which are made by laborers in treacherous conditions, who burn their lives to make my world shine.
  • I am liable to write poems and make art and romanticize the miseries of people, I shall seek validation and approval from fellow elites for my great work. (to be continued)
                 I agree

  2. उफ़! कमाल! deadline wali creativity!
Although the poem doesn't follow the conventional grammar of breaking lines. But that's the idea i guess. But, try breaking the lines and see what it does to the text.
Please add some more points and filter them, if it works for you.
Also, if you can play with the 'I agree' section technically i.e. for example- if a person selects the option then a new window opens up with another poem or visual or video, that would be wonderful.
